Twice Is Nice Retail ribbon-cutting

Lakeside Lutheran is pleased to share the good news of our partner and benefactor, Twice Is Nice Retail Store in Jefferson, and join them in inviting all our Warrior families and friends to attend~

Good Stewards, Inc., the parent organization of the Twice Is Nice Retail store in Jefferson, has announced that a ribbon cutting ceremony for the recently opened addition to the east side of its Jefferson location has been scheduled for Saturday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m.

The building addition project, which broke ground July 7, 2015, almost doubled both the storage and sales floor areas of the building at a cost of just over $900,000. While the store remained open for shoppers throughout the entire process, the new sales floor opened for shopping December 7. The entire building now comprises over 22,000 sq. ft.

Among those expected to attend the event are James Buelow, President of the Good Stewards Board of Directors, representatives from general contractor Maas Brothers and sub-contractors for the project, as well as from the Twice is Nice volunteer corps, including Day Managers, Building Committee and Finance Committee members. “The building committee members did an outstanding job in leading the various contractors to a very satisfactory completion,” says Buelow. “The new facilities will play a substantial role in the continued future success of this organization.”

Buelow will lead the cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. All interested citizens are welcome to attend. The store is open for shopping as usual from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a gift offered for the first 250 shoppers that day.
