Lakeside Lutheran Scholarship Recipients Announced

Lakeside Lutheran High School announces that 29 students in the Class of 2016 report that they have received over $526,200 in scholarship money from individuals, foundations, organizations and the schools they applied to attend. Of the 79 graduates in the class of 2016, 72 have indicated plans to continue their education in the fall of 2016, while two plan to enter the military. Scholarships marked with an asterisk (*) indicate a renewable scholarship.

Annah Dobson, daughter of Roger & Rachelanne Dobson, Johnson Creek: UW- Platteville Community Scholarship $250, LLHS FFA Alumni Scholarship $250, Wisconsin Hereford Association Scholarship $800, United Cooperative Scholarship $1,000, Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Scholarship $500. She plans to attend UW-River Falls to pursue a degree in Agricultural Marketing Communications.

Becca Doering, daughter of Matthew & Jill Doering, Lake Mills: MLC Messenger Scholarship $2,000*, Ryan J. Zweifel Scholarship $2,500. She plans to attend Martin Luther College to pursue a degree in Secondary Physical Education.

Hollie Doyle, daughter of Jeffrey & Heidi Doyle, Watertown: Carroll University Trustee Scholarship $18,000*, Robert Muehrcke Foundation Scholar Athlete Award $7,000*. She plans to attend Carroll University to pursue a Doctorate in Ophthalmology.

Leah Fields, daughter of Steven & Julie Fields, Lake Mills: Concordia Presidential Scholarship $9,000*, Carroll College: Voorhees Scholarship $16,000* &, Sage Rewards Scholarship $1,250, Marion University Academic Achievement Award $15,000*, Ripon College Faculty Scholarship $18,000*, Carthage College Academic Honors $17,000*. She plans to attend Concordia University Wisconsin to pursue a degree in Radiologic Technology.

Rachel Fischer, daughter of Mark & Mary Fisher, Madison: Concordia University Presidential Scholarship $9,000*, WLC Academic Scholarship $12,000*, Marian University Academic Achievement Award $15,000*. She plans to attend Concordia University Wisconsin to pursue a degree in Nursing.

Justin Gaal, son of Jeff & Jennifer Gaal, Oconomowoc: UW Stout Promising Student Scholarship $1,000*. He plans to attend UW-Madison for a degree in Business.

Ryan Genthe, daughter of Rachel Genthe and Aaron Genthe, Lake Mills: UW-Platteville Community Scholarship $500.00. He plans to attend UW-Whitewater to pursue a degree in Business/Finance.

Joe Graumann, son of William & Rebecca Graumann, Fort Atkinson: Zachary D. Moyle Scholarship $2,500. He plans to attend Martin Luther College to pursue Pastoral studies.

Hannah Hoffman, daughter of Brian & Carrie Hoffman, Waterloo: Lake Mills Rotary Club Scholarship $750. She plans to attend UW-Madison.

Brittni Jegerlehner, daughter of AJ & Betty Jegerlehner, Sun Prairie: Kent Scholarship $500*, WLC Presidential scholarship $15,000*. She plans to attend UW-La Crosse to pursue a degree in Education.

Ben Karas, son of Michael & Amy Karas, Milton: WLC Academic Scholarship $10,000*, WLC Christian Leadership Summit $1,000*, WLC Partners in Christian Education $1,000*. He plans to attend Wisconsin Lutheran Collegefor a degree in Sports and Exercise Science.

Clarissa Keller, daughter of Dean & Patricia Keller, Madison: UW-Oshkosh Chancellor’s Academic Scholarship $1,000, UW-Eau Claire Freshmen Honors Guarantee Scholarship $1,000. She plans to attend UW-Madison to pursue a degree in Nursing.

Ashley Kohls, daughter of Michael & Joanne Kohls, Waterloo: WLC Academic Scholarship $12,000*, WLC Fine Arts Scholarship $1,000*, WLC Christian Leadership Summit $1,000*, WLC Partners in Christian Education $1,000*. She plans to attend WLC to pursue a degree in Psychology or Business.

Rachel Manteufel, daughter of Philip & Judith Manteufel, Columbus: Ripon Dean Scholarship $16,000*, Ripon Alumni Scholarship $2,000*. She plans to attend Ripon College.

Abby Monis, daughter of Peder & Trisha Monis, Oconomowoc: Maryville Barat Scholarship $14,000*, Maryville Athletic Scholarship $29,000*, California Baptist University Athletic Scholarship $30,000*, Quincy University Athletic Scholarship $36,000*. She plans to attend Maryville University to pursue a degree in Sports Business Management.

Corey Paske, son of Kelby & Trina Paske, Arlington: MLC Witness Scholarship $1,500*, Zion Called Worker Scholarship $1,000. He plans to attend Martin Luther College for a degree in Education.

He plans to attend Wisconsin Lutheran College for a degree in Sports and Exercise Science.

Lydia Ulrich, daughter of Christine & Richard Ulrich, Lake Mills: UW-Stevens Point First-Year Merit Scholarship $1,000. She plans to attend UW-Stevens Point to pursue a degree in Health and Wellness Promotion.

Alyssa Wegner, daughter of Kevin & Julie Wegner, Madison: Winona State Academic Scholarship $1,500*. She plans to attend UW-Whitewater to pursue a degree in Marketing.
